McGill University Scholarships in Canada offers three types of scholarships to undergraduate students entering a full-time undergraduate program at McGill University Scholarships in Canada.
One-year Entrance Scholarships
McGill University provides merit-based admission scholarships to first-time students enrolling in full-time undergraduate degree programs. All first-time university students enrolling in a full-time undergraduate degree program are automatically evaluated for a one-year scholarship if the basic academic standards are met. The scholarship value is $3000 and is non-renewable.
Major Entrance Scholarships
Merit-based Major entrance scholarships (value: $3,000, $5,000, $10,000, or $12,000 renewable) are available to first-time college students starting a full-time undergraduate degree program through McGill’s Scholarships & Student Aid.
Need-based Entrance Scholarship Program
McGill University is dedicated to helping deserving undergraduate students who need financial aid to pursue their academic goals. Financial need-based admission bursaries are available to students from low- to modest-income families through the University’s admission Bursary Program. Application Procedure and Deadlines for McGill University Entrance Scholarships
For one-year entrance scholarships, there is no need to submit a separate application. However, you must submit a separate application for Major Entrance Scholarships soon after your admissions application. The date of the extended application period for entrance scholarships is February 7, 2024.
