The Global Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship

Applicants who have received an offer of admission to East Anglia University Scholarships are eligible to apply for the Global Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship. Our panel meets regularly, and entries that meet high standards can receive a £4,000 tuition fee reduction.

This scholarship is meant to recognize international fee status applicants who have been accepted to East Anglia University Scholarships and who can clearly articulate how their attendance at East Anglia University Scholarship will enable them to make a major contribution to their field of study as well as the East Anglia University Scholarships community.

The Global Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

Applicants who have received an offer of admission to UEA are eligible to apply for the Global Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship. Under the award, a scholarship is given for up to three years of undergraduate study. Our panel, which provides £4,000 annually for superior entries, meets regularly. Nominations for a £10,000 annual award will be accepted for entries of extraordinary quality.

Mansion House Scholarship Scheme

Business leaders and students in their early career stages are given scholarships under the Mansion House Scholarship Scheme (MHSS). About applications from 70 countries—35 of which the OECD considers developing—the Scheme has granted 208 scholarships since its founding. Mansion House offers master’s degree-level or comparable scholarships that are only available for a single year. Students from abroad receive the vast majority of our honors.

Ariadne Nicolaeff Scholarship

The gifted student who has been admitted to the MA Literary Translation program will receive funding from the Ariadne Nicolaeff Scholarship. Students with both domestic and international fees are eligible for the award. As their final dissertation/project, the scholar would have to translate a dramatic literary work from Russia that hasn’t been published in English yet. To help with living expenses and course fees, the scholarship will have a total value of £26,000 for one year (or two years if the student is enrolled part-time).

The Global Voices Scholarship

Applicants who have applied for a spot on the MA Creative Writing Prose Fiction, Biography and Creative Non-Fiction, Scriptwriting or Poetry in the School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing and who are citizens of any African nation or who were born there are eligible for the Global Voices Scholarship program. Candidates with financial need and exceptional creative writing potential are given the scholarships.

The Ink Sweat & Tears Scholarship

A gifted writer enrolled in UEA’s esteemed MA Creative Writing: Poetry degree will receive support from the Ink Sweat & Tears Scholarship. Both domestic and foreign students may enroll. Recipients of scholarships must submit a poem to be featured in the webzine Ink Sweat & Tears. During their first year, they will also recite at a Writer’s event.
