Undergraduate students in the United States with limited financial resources can study or intern overseas thanks to the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which equips them with skills essential to the country’s economic growth and national defense. They will become fluent in various languages and cultures—skills vital to their academic and professional advancement. The program’s goal is to inspire students to study and intern across a wide range of nations and geographical places. Additionally, the initiative promotes language learning among students, particularly in critical need languages (those considered crucial to national security).
