Suffolk University Scholarships
International Merit Scholarship (2025/26)
To attract and recognize overseas students who have demonstrated academic excellence in their previous coursework, the University of Suffolk Overseas Merit Scholarship (2025–6) program was established.
Since this scholarship is given out automatically, submitting a separate application is unnecessary. Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in two-year full-time programs who pay full tuition annually are eligible for this grant; the specifics and exclusions are outlined below.
An infinite number of awards are up for grabs for the 2025–06 school year. When a student enrolls in the institution, scholarships will be given as a reduction in the tuition that must be paid. A required CAS deposit cannot have money taken out of it.
- Undergraduate classes:
- Candidates will get £2,000 if they meet the specified entrance requirements.
- Candidates will get £3,000 if they meet the specified admission requirements.
- Postgraduate student-taught programs:
- Applicants will get £1000 if their bachelor’s degrees are equivalent to 2:2 (lower second) levels.
- Candidates will receive £2,000 if their bachelor’s degrees are in the 2:1 (upper second) level.
- £3,000 will be awarded to candidates with a first-class equivalent bachelor’s degree.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the International Merit Scholarship for 2025–06, applicants must:
- For fee purposes, be classified as overseas (international fees).
- have applied to an undergraduate or graduate course offered by the University of Suffolk’s Ipswich campus.
- I’ve applied to begin my studies in the academic year 2025–06.
- Keep up a full-time study regimen.
- Undergraduate students starting their first year of study must apply.
