To lessen the financial burden of studying overseas, the University of Gloucestershire offers one of its unique worldwide scholarship packages to new international self-funded students* enrolled on campus in the 2025–2026 academic year.

Undergraduate taught merit scholarship
Gloucestershire University Scholarships
Tuition is waived for this merit grant, which honors outstanding academic achievement, a compelling creative portfolio, or related work experience (if required). The value of the scholarship is £7,500.
- Amount:
- For three years, a £7,500 tuition fee relief will be distributed.
- Application deadline:
- 30 April 2025
Eligibility
The award is available to new, independent, full-time international students who pay tuition; students must be enrolled on campus in undergraduate courses; and the award can be applied to any undergraduate taught course starting in September 2025 that is taken for at least two semesters.

Postgraduate taught merit scholarship
This tuition-free merit grant is meant to honor and reward outstanding academic achievement, a compelling artistic portfolio, or relevant work experience, if applicable. The scholarship will have a £5,000 value.

- The first year’s tuition charge was reduced by £5,000 due to the tuition fee waiver.
- Application Deadline:
- April 30, 2025
Eligibility
Gloucestershire University Scholarships in USA is for brand-new, self-sufficient, full-time, tuition-paying international students. Postgraduate teaching candidates need to be enrolled on campus. The award is available for any postgraduate taught course taken for at least two semesters starting in September 2025.

Global scholarship
- Amount:
- At the time of offer, a £1,500 tuition fee relief is subtracted from the first year’s tuition.
- Application deadline:
- This is an automatic waiver of the tuition charge; no application is needed.
Eligibility
- New international students who have paid their tuition and been enrolled full-time for at least two semesters are eligible.
- Undergraduate and graduate students are required to be present on campus.
- Students pursuing postgraduate research can take classes remotely or on campus.
- The following study levels are eligible:
- Undergraduate
- Masters by Research Master of Research (MRes) postgraduate taught
- PhD
- The Global Scholarship will be awarded immediately at the time of offer and in accordance with the terms stated in the offer letter. Students participating in professional doctoral programs, such as DBA or EdD, are not eligible for the Global Scholarship.
Progression partner scholarship
The Gloucestershire University Scholarships will provide a £5,000 Progression Partner Scholarship to students who want to move from an overseas progression partner to an undergraduate degree.
Amount:
At the time of offer, a £5,000 tuition fee relief is subtracted from the first year’s tuition.
Application Deadline:
This is an automatic waiver of the tuition charge; no application is needed.
Eligibility
- Students are eligible to transfer from an overseas partner to a pre-established development plan.
