Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Karlstad University Global Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Not have lived in Sweden for more than two years when the scholarship period begins.
  • Not hold a permanent residence or work permit in Sweden.

Students from the following 32 countries are not eligible for the Karlstad University Global Scholarship. These students should instead apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarships:
