Ulster University

Ulster Institution, also called the University of Ulster, is a public research university with several campuses situated in Northern Ireland. It is commonly known by the abbreviation UU or as Ulster informally and unofficially.

Founded in 1845, Ulster University currently operates several campuses. Another illustration of the institution’s growth outside of Northern Ireland is our branch campuses, which are run in partnership with QA Higher Education, formerly QA Business School.

Beginning in September 2025, all new international students, excluding those from the UK and the Republic of Ireland, were eligible to enroll in the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree offered on one of our campuses in Northern Ireland.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications for Ulster University International Scholarships

To be eligible for this reward, you must be considered an international student who is self-funding and paying the international tuition fee rate.
In addition to meeting any academic and/or English language requirements specified in your offer letter, you must have an offer for a full-time undergraduate program starting in September 2025 on one of our campuses in Northern Ireland (Belfast, Coleraine, or Derry-Londonderry).
This award is not available to students enrolled in our branch campuses in Manchester, Birmingham, or London, or those applying to our online, part-time, or MBBS programs.
Please be aware that you can only receive one scholarship or discount.

International Postgraduate Scholarship

All new international students (except those from the UK and the Republic of Ireland) enrolling in the first year of a full-time postgraduate program offered on one of our Northern Ireland campuses beginning in January or September 2025 are eligible.

Value

The £2,000 scholarship is applied to your tuition cost as a reduction.

Along with having an offer for a full-time postgraduate program starting in January or September 2025 on one of our campuses in Belfast, Coleraine, or Derry-Londonderry, you must also fulfill any academic and/or English language requirements specified in your offer letter.
This scholarship is not available to students applying to part-time or online courses, or courses at our branch campuses in Manchester and Birmingham, England.
