University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship
Offered annually to international first-year undergraduate students who will begin their first year of any undergraduate degree in the upcoming autumn semester and have satisfied the university’s English language proficiency requirements. Renewable in the winners’ subsequent fall and winter terms for a minimum of 24.00 units, provided they maintain payment of the international differential tuition charge as an international student. The award is renewable in the winners’ second, third, and fourth years at the University of Calgary Scholarships.

Criteria for University of Calgary Scholarships
- International students are eligible for all rewards that aren’t limited to Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- International students must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program to be eligible.

Award applications are easy to submit. If you apply to each competition with prizes, you will be considered for all the awards for which you are eligible.
- To access My UCalgary, go to my.ucalgary.ca.
- Navigate to the My UCalgary “My Financials” page.
- Once you’ve reached the Awards & Scholarships page, scroll down and choose “Apply for Undergraduate Awards.” Verify that popups are enabled. If popups are disabled, the page won’t load.
- A pop-up window containing any open or recently closed applications will appear on your screen. Please pay attention to the dates that are indicated as “Application Available” and “Application Deadline.”
